Senior Girls. The team of Romy Mc. Carthy, Lucy ODonnell Zoe Stokes managed respectable scores in the shooting to kick off for the Tipps, with Romy being a late call up thank you Romy The girls put in good performances in the pool and did very well. The team successfully navigated a very strong senior XC course with determination. Well done girls you were brave and hardy, as were your mounts Running was last up on Sunday and the three girls had solid runs holding their place to finish 5th from 9 teams which was brilliant. Romy recently was selected to represent Ireland in the FEI European Pony Championships in Hungary a huge congratulations from us all  Lucy and Zoe having both been to the UK representing Ireland in tetrathlon in the past, were on an Irish home intl. Empire L Aube D Un Monde Nouveau Crack. Zoe also received the silver commendation badge for overall score achieved riding senior tetrathlon. It is hard to pull a senior team together and we wish Aoibhinn Coady a speedy recovery after an unfortunate mishap at the eventing champs ruling her out of the competition. Big thanks to her and her Mum for marking a fence on the day and hopefully we will have her back next year. Junior Girls. The team of Laura Ryan, Katie Mc. Carthy, Annica OConnor and Aoife Murphy provided a couple of very good shooting scores with Annica shooting 7. Katie 6. 70. Some good swimming from Laura and the team was followed with both Aoife and Katie getting a clear round XC. All the girls rode very well, the team finishing 9th awesome effort. The team of Leah Cohen, Jane ODonnell and Keelan Mc. Carthy also made a good effort at the shoot and swim then went on to have a great xc, with a clear xc from both Leah Keelan. Again the girls handled the tough track really well. Class girls Jane travelled to Northern England this summer with a minimus squad representing Ireland and her team wonAoife travelled to the U. K in June with the Irish squad in Junior tetrathlon managing a clear XC on the day and having a great time meeting new friends in the process, she also competed on the day in the home intl. Jane ODonnell and the team were 5th well done Aoife Jane. Junior Boys. The team of Angus Mc. Donald, Robert Wall, Bob Barton Ben Coleman scored great shots from all the boys, with Robert winning an individual 2nd prize for shooting with a high score of 8. Some really sound swimming from Ben and the boys and a clear XC from Robert, a scorcher of a run from Angus and Bob earning Angus an individual 3rd place earned the team 6th place. Overall Angus finished 5th and Robert 7th. Great team effort from everyone. Angus was also doubled on a home intl. The team of John Kennedy, Yousef Sallam, Conor Walsh and David Broderick started the first phase with a fine shoot from Yousef and a very good swim from David. On to the XC and Conor Walsh had a near perfect round with just one fault and John Kennedy finishing the last section on Sunday with a run of 5. Great team and definitely the most photogenic The weekend is quite full on for both parents and athletes but big thanks to Sophie, Cristian, Hugh, Anne, Carly, Joan and all the trainers and fence judges and fence movers and tent movers of course the parents Hopefully we can keep growing our squad as we have a pool of members that could enjoy the camaraderie and fun of the whole event as well as the competition.
